Well said. No deer in the headlights look from our players. Although Siena had more firepower and more evenly spread talent there was never the feeling that we didn't belong on the same court with them. Siena has a nice team but as most have been realizing we are but one or two players away.

Originally felt we needed a spotup shooter/scorer to supplement Wesley and Nick. Now with the addition of Belin we are top heavy with good players up front. Help is needed in the backcourt. Help in the sense of depth and scoring power to give Wes, Nick and Brandon some rest time. Obvious when either Wes or Nick sits that our offensive firepower drops off. Brandon is improving every game and is a valuable player to have. Will see plenty of court time next year. However JD needs options and alternatives. When Nick, Wes, or Brandon need a blow, are in foul trouble or just having a poor game the coach needs some maneuverability. A combo guard with the ability to score would add depth to what is becoming a very good nuculus.

Officiating made me want to vomit. Siena plays first 29 minutes and commits 4 PFs. Mike Kitts actually threatened to toss me because I said "They're a MAAC team not an ACC team don't give them more respect than they deserve." And he threatens to toss me? 22 to 3 on FTs says it all as to com petence of this crew. Siena is better, but they got treated like Wooden's Bruins tonight and the shame is they did not need it because Hasbrouck was tremendous and their overall talent level is too good. Again Jenkins gets no calls in the lane.

Agree with all of the above posts. we didn't shoot a free throw until almost 30 minutes into this game. At that point total fouls called were 13 on SPC 3 on Siena.
As figgy said they are a very good team and clearly had better personnel but they were guarding hard and physical in the lane and pressing from the get go with hardly a whistle against them.
Meanwhile SPC had Bacon, Hall and Costner in foul trouble. The game turned late in the first half when Hall went out with his third foull and especially Bacon was pulled after his second foul. From there as Cindy stated above Siena pulled out to a big lead and took it from there.
Overall i thought frankly we played very well despite being clearly undermanned.Hopefully reinforcements for next year are on the way.

Even if you think we played well despite being undermanned, the fact is that we are undermanned and that is not an accident. We need to stop being undermanned.
