jajk,I agree wholeheartedly. However, let me put a word in for Nick Leon. 'Lest we forget it was Nick who carried this team for almost half the season. Won the NJIT game almost single handily(what an embarassement that would have been), held his own against Seton Hall's outstanding guard tandem, outplayed Tyrone Lewis of Niagara (check that box score), likewise to Jonathan Han and Brett Harvey (both at home).

Anyone who has ever played point understands the double burden Nick has. Sometimes when Brandon is out he needs to play the point while at other times he moves to his natural position the #2. More than his scoring Nick brings that I don't fear anyone attitude to the court. Not only a very good shooter but can take anyone to the basket AND finish the play. Most of all he is willing to take the beating and go to the foul line. Not knocking Wesley but all great scorers know how to get to the line. As we know, one's jump shot is not always there, night in and night out. Being able to draw the foul was one of KeeKee's strengths. Would like to see Wesley develop that part of his game more. However, as you point out he is an exceptional talent, just wait until the surrounding cast gets better!

By the way did you see that Manhattan/Iona game last night? Don't want to knock other teams, especially given our record, but neither team has much offense or shooting. Manhattan won because of superior rebounding which could cause us some problems. Again without knocking another program, would I substitute any three players on the court (on either team) for Ryan, Wesley or Nick - absolutely not! The nucleus is here, hope we can build around it.
