My apologies! You are absolutely right on Bill Stein. With regard to Pat Elliott, from what I know, he has accomplished so much in his short tenure, both inside and outside the Athletic Department. Like JD he is trying to build an infastructure that will bring SPC to another level. Some examples are building (or rebuilding) relationships with Board Of Trustees, upper management and the like. It one thing for our President to say that athletics is once again an integral part of SPC and quite another to put that thought into action. With some of the "lazy", disinterested personnel still on the payroll Pat Elliott appears to be doing all of the dirty work that is required after all the rhetoric is over. He and Bill Stein have different skill sets. Bill was great under very adverse circumstances but Pat is the right guy at this time. I am not in that inner circle to detail everything but even from a distance what the guy is doing is obvious. Sorry for the misintrepretation.
