According to MTS , a poster on the MAAC board , Siena's coach Fran McCaffery said on his radio show that he had Ryan Bacon on his first team all-MAAC . A nice compliment for one of our three super sophs if so . I hope that someone mentions it to Ryan if he has not heard it before ,
Just as interesting JAM ,I believe , has said he had Ryan Rossiter , another soph on his first team . Since neither made any team , you wonder how many other coaches left these two off their ballots completely . I know that I saw the two have damn good games against other teams . And just look at both their stats .
Is it possible that Fran voted for Bacon, knowing that he wouldn't make the team, but that it would help keep a non Siena player from making the first team. Or do you think the vote was genuine?
