Caught some of the first and all of the second half on the tube. All Nick again with a little Gooding thrown in. If Bacon makes a few of the shots we are becoming accustomed to him making, we win tonight. If we only had another shooter, maybe the Wesley of last year, we win most of our last half dozen.

We have really stepped it up defensively. As Cindy mentioned, more help defense and much better positioning inside. A good passing and perimeter shooting opponent will still cause us trouble but, aside from some talented bigs inside, we can hold our own with almost anyone in our own league. Tonight we dominated the boards inside, particularly on the offensive end. Our current need is another scorer, Wesley has lost his form (and maybe confidence), and Hall's shooting will become more a liability as more teams take the time to know us.

Team played hard as usual. Reduced our turnovers drastically in the second half, although not much pressure from Loyola. Nick literally took over the game late in the first half, bringing us back from about a seven point defecit. Sitting out the first six minutes of the game for a "team infraction" may have actually added to his play.

Another near miss. Hopefully we don't lose our spirited play.
