Great posts; the Rock was like a crypt for the SPC game. Could not have been 300 for the game start and 100 people in the stands for the second half. Borderline eerie.

We came out flat on the defensive end. Our lack of raw talent was exposed without the super defensive focus we showed against Niagara, Manhattan and Loyola.

I bet the Broncs bench ourscored ours 25-5 or so. So, in addition to the fact they were hitting their wide open shots, it became apparent Riders' talent level spots 1-8 was far superior. Not a huge surprise.

As others have said, we were bound to throw in a clinker. Manic defensive intensity is hard to maintain every game.

Whether or not we peaked by playing the 4-5 good games (all close losses) every team cobbles together during long season and will regress.....or whether we have improved and yesterday was an aberration...is yet to be determined.

On the plus side, Wesley took a few to the hoop, got some confidence then started hitting his jumpers in the second half. Also, Hall looked a bit better...lost two assists on missed chippies by Hill and Bacon.

Tangible improvement or "dead cat bounce"....we'll see. I think (hope!) it is the former.
