Subject: Jon and Jeron

just googling around last night , I saw that Jon Hogga is playing for Gwynned-Mercy , a small liberal arts college in Pa . They play schools like Widener,TCNJ AND Rowan ; team looks like they are having good year , 12-2 or so . Jon playing 21 minutes a game , 13 points, 6.5 rebounds , 44% from three ( oh ! ). Anyway nice to see that he has found a spot to play and get his education .

Coincidence was that in the googling saw one spot that had him on the same list as Jeron Belin so looked at the two of them in their hoopscoop HS rankings . Jon was around 650-670 in his junior and senior years ; Jeron in the mid 400s . After the top 100 or so this stuff doesn't mean helluva a lot , but figured I would pass it along given the coincidence .

Jeron is surely a well travelled young man if my googling is correct ; four states in four years . A Georgia HS as junior , Conn HS as senior , then Fla and NY for his two JC years . Here is to hoping that he settles down for two years in a row in the Garden State . The teams he has played for all seem to do really well at their levels .

I hated losing Hogga as I thought he was going to be a good one here at SPC. The whole thing seemed bizzare to me.Right now we can ill afford to lose talent and win.
