Subject: Corey Chandler transferring ?
Zagsblog reporting that Chandler likely to transfer from Rutgers . My guess is he'll want to go A-10 level but he and advisers do have the Flores from RU to Manhattan great success . His weaknesses will be less of a problem in the MAAC and the strengths of his game will be much more evident in the MAAC . How many MAAC programs will want to be in the chase ? Do you think Peacocks should ?

Every MAAC program would give its proverbial right testicle to land Chandler for two years. Corey would drive to the bucket and score at will in the MAAC, where there are few 6'9" athletic forwards to block or alter his shot.
If Chandler looks in the direction of the MAAC, past performance suggests he'll land at Iona or Manhattan.
I hope, somehow, SPC is in the mix.
Note: If just one poster indicates he wouldn't want Chandler because it would disrupt our guard combo of Jenkins, Leon and Hall, I will become depressed. :>)

hes an improvement over leon and hall but he has no outside shot and is not the force you portray him to be.

I realize this is mental masturbation.....but I'd take my chances with Corey. His greatest stregnth, taking it to the hole, would be infinitely easier in the MAAC. Corey is all-MAAC quality, in my opinion.
I think Corey winds up at the A-10 level; we'll see.
That behind us......we are playing with house money Saturday night.....if Bacon can stay on the floor for 30+ minutes, we have a shot.
While Niagara and Siena look like the most solid 1-2 seeds, relative to the rest, in recent history, would still be great to get our guys semi-final experience.
