John has made clear that he is not in lock step with McCain on many issues but is rather making the case for the disaster an Obama presidency will bring.
Now if you're really a pundit and financial jinnee, please point out to John how the Messiah will reduce taxes for 95% of us commoners and only tax those greedy, self-serving rich making over $250,000, ummmm...check that, $200,000, ummmm...check again, $150,000 a year. Oh, let's just wait until the bumbling but revealing Senator from Delaware speaks again.
Obama....change you can believe in.

My Cuban grandparents told me everything I needed to know about this election. When they heard Obama speeches, which are covered ad nauseum on Spanish TV stations (think there isn't an agenda by the media to get this guy elected?), they simply said the following: "We have heard this all before in 1959." Yes indeed...we can learn very much from the elderly, they have not only learned from history, they have lived it!

Well researched John and written. As to SPC91 you are on the mark. I grew up in West New York and many of my friends parents knew what Marxist Leninist philosophy was like to live under first hand.
The question on O Bama is will he govern as a moderate left president as he is running in the general election or revert to his true beliefs as his history shows as a far left radicl ideologue. Is he the real Manchurian Candidate.
The press won't expose what you point out to the masses as they are firmly in the tank for a far left candidate.
Wait to the unholy trio of Barrack,Nancy and Harry Reid rule the roost.The 200k threshold for tax increases,remember he was at 250 a month ago which Biden now says is 150 b/t/w will be around 45k as to tax increases.Instead of bringing down the deficit with the money he will re distribute it to everyone who now pays nothing as a new form of social welfare.

My kudos also. This may be a little off topic but political spin is quite powerful. Too many of us are lazy and don't do enough research or reading. Case in point was John Kerry and the Swift Boat men. A not uncommon phrase today was that John Kerry was "Swift Boated" as if these 230 plus guys, who served our country with distinction were lying, while this empty suit and politician John Kerry was telling the truth.Aside from these Swift Boaters honorable service, documents concurrent with their testimony were presented. To use former tennis player John McEnroe's signature phrase: "Are you serious?"
I read the book, reviewed the documents, several other accounts as well as Congressional testimony under oath. Heck even the doctor who examined Kerry's wound (self-inflicted or not) clearly stated that it was similar to a splinter! That doctor, who had no axe to grind, refused to recommed Kerry for a Purple Heart. So did Kerry's Commander in Chief. Somehow JK went the political route and secured that medal.It's amazing how many so-called intelligent people form opinions without taking the time and effort to do some research. As with today they are merely sound bite and media driven.
As a son of a father who sacrificed his life for our country in WW11, Kerry's true story disgusted me. Yet so many were willing to believe this empty suit, medal chaser and chronic manipulator.
Getting back to BO, while I'm a registered independent I would have no trouble voting for a Democrat. My problem with BO, aside from his Socialist leanings, is that I also see him as an empty suit. I state this understanding that it's part of modern politics. However, some (JK, BO) are born fabricators. I'm not a big John McCain fan but atleast he is close to what he appears to be.
Postscript, I've left the issues out of this discussion but if anyone wants to talk economics, I'm quite willing to include that in my assessment.
