You are right on the money.......this year is all about finding out if Bacon, Reid, Hall and Hill can eventually develop into solid MAAC players. That will be determined only by extensive floor time....even if at the expense of a win or two and floor time for Leon, Gooding and Traore....

Hall, Reid and Hill have to be in the top 7 rotation by January in order for us to make the best of a bad situation. Results are secondary to player development for the balance of the season, period.

In order for us to have any success over the next THREE seasons, three of the above four players have to become solid MAAC players PLUS Conley and the other player brought in for next season have to be solid contributors as well. This roster is a long, long way from being competitive and it "is what it is", for the most part, for the next three seasons.

From a 50,000 ft. perspective, the ability of Hall, Reid and Hill to become solid MAAC players will determine whether or not Dunne ever achieves a .500 season in the (gulp!) five years he is most likely destined to be at SPC.

Unless, of course, another extension is being drafted as this is written..... :>)
