Didn't hear this directly (was at game; buddy told me) but Gary Cohen said on SHU broadcast that Costner "is emerging in this game out of nowhere and is playing like his brother, Brandon".

I didn't think he had enough upper body stregnth yet to be effective; I saw it in person but still can't fathom he got 12 rebounds!

Lets not get too crazy over one or two games. "Significant MAAC frontline player" based on 12 rebounds in one game. I hope he translates into a Darren Rowe eventually but he has a long way to go.

Agree, but at least there is a glimmer of hope for Costner to play a role.

my post didn't say that I expect Jordan to be a significant frontline MAAC player , rather that I was wrong on dismissing it as a possibility . Also some may differ on what significant player means . Right now I am certainly not talking about all MAAC by that , but rather competitive at fulfilling his game responsibilities against most MAAC teams . I thought his rebounding potential was limited by elevation and strength concerns but we all know that rebounding is at least as much determined by court intelligence , positioning and how much you want to do it every minute you are out there . But I was not trying to get too far ahead here , but rather admit the young man's game clearly surpasses my evaluation abilities .
