Wesley is above average, IMO, as he is at least functional on the MAAC level......on a club with virtually no other scoring options.....allowing every opposing defense to focus on him.

His shooting % would be much better if anyone else on the club could create and score with any consistency. He steals the ball a fair bit and also rebounds well for a guard. I'll stick with the "above average" grade for WJ...we can agree to disagree.

WJ is, by far, the best of Dunne's 8 recruits. However, 1.5 (give Ryan a .5) out of 9 is not getting it done.....will have to give the frosh the entire season before making a final judgement, of course....but Ryan and Wesley seem to be better and have more upside than Hill, Hall, Reid, Costner, Mumphord, Leon and Lampley (RIP).

Once again, I'd wrap up the JD experiment this April, sans a very good front line signee being inked....too many misses on the recruiting end as well as no clear "X and O" advantage apparent on the floor. Even if that signee were to materialize, I'd put JD on the griddle to get to .500 next season, or else.

Stein and Prez' extension of JD contract really neutered the new AD. :>(
