Excellent summation. Well balanced and, unlike some, does not claim to possess the clairvoyance or vision to know that the choice of Dunne was a poor one from the outset.

You also miss state many issues, much like your political beliefs as well as being a documented panderer. You must be a practiced liar and prefabricator but lack the ability to tie together the events as they transpire.

I never said was a mistake from the start, I made that choice after 2.5 seasons of experience. It doesn't take clairvoyance to make a decision after seeing the results of performance. Your lack of same accounts for you being the poet laureate of pure meaningless comments.

Or don't you bother to read what you post? The satirical nature of my post was to your revisionist inference that there were others more qualified at the time of hire. You also do the flip flop by your now, more recent discovery that Dunne was always Stein's choice and one that would serve as the lackey he could control.

Perhaps we should put you in charge of naming a new Senator. Similar to some politicos, you could always try to convince that you were for, before you were against. Or was it against, before you were for?

You are nowhere as intelligent as you think. Your comprehensive skills are so poor it is no wonder you have problems with original thought. You are the epitimy of an intellectual fraud that exists on any board.

Didn't see the answers on Dunne you claimed to have.

Why don't you just step up to plate and comment on the state of SPC basketball program and all its infuences. Best oner gets from you are cryptic comments with little to no meaning and a firm belief that is nothing more than karma that shaped this program. It appears you pride yourself as being a sniper, with an unbelievable limited backing for your attacks.

Guess my lack of reading comprehension prevented me from seeing this some three year's ago. What foresight on your part.

"Now lets correct a stated comment made recently that Dunne was hired to rebuild the program. Sorry, but Dunne was hired while Loughran was still President and was hired because it was felt he would cause the least disruption under the magnanimous President. The fact remains that Dunne was the path that would ease Stein in his last years and was a coach that would not get Loughran upset. If anyone knows about the Stein Orr connection you might understand how Dunne came to be. There were at least four other coaches that would have serve better but dismissed by Stein as potential troublemakers for him. Names, Casey, McBreen, Reimbios, Herrada. All would have been a better choice, but only in retrospect. One never knows how they would do, but they were culled out because Stein wanted the Orr man from the start. It is probably unfair to call him a bad coach as he might serve well as an assistant coach but he certainly has not demonstrated the ability to be a head coach".

I didn't have this feeling three years ago although I felt McBreen or Casey would have been the better choice. It was made known back then of the Orr connection or were you unaware that Stein wanted Louie as his first choice.
Or as I have left out Kevin Boyle whose personality turned off many, was a front runner.

Now since you took the effort to copy part of my post, what is that you take issue with. The rebuilding program part, or the Stein method of coach selection. Clarity of purpose on your part seems to constantly be missing.

It seems your intelligence betrays you again. Foresight. No, Just making the historical connections, or do you not understand the nature of history.
