Guys, 2.5 yrs. into JD's tenure, we just don't have enough talented players to compete successfully on a MAAC level and are resigned to another 8th-9th-10th finish. The net-net summary is really that simple.
I think we all realize, no matter our preference, SPC will not pull the plug early on Dunne, even if the current 2.5 year trend continues.
We can only hope we add TWO scorers ready to play next year AND Hall can become a functional MAAC point guard.
If those things happen, we'll have a fun team to follow...not a MAAC champion, but one with potential to get out of the play in round.
If both don't happen, we'll be debating Boyle/Danny Hurley/Kevin Bannon (my choice) in about 27 months.
Mark your calendars. :>)

The issue is not that they will not pull the plug, it is the fact that there is very little semblance of a coached team of any quality. The one character that can sum up the team as a whole, it is inept and that is more a tribute to the coach than the players. As far as the team goes, they are much more than two men away from being competitive. If you want a real problem, just watch the constant posts that attempt to show improvement by some and just in case Dunne gets a few extra wins, the powers that be just might give him an extension.

As long as people accept the incompetency some others will rise to defend at any accident of nature that arises from this team.
