Subject: If its not broke don't fix it

For the past several games there has been the same three guard starting line up in the second half which has worked to exception.The defense,tempo,scoring and ball movement all pick up.Why because Nick is now freed up to concentrate more on scoring and it allows him more freedom to roam.This also saves from wearing him down. Even though Hall is not big on scoring at this time he can get the ball to those who can, he handles very well and he is becoming more of a defensive force.Put him on the opposing pt guard to give Nick a break.He Nick and Wes work very well together
This line up also puts 2 outside threats on the wings (Wes and Nick).You then have Bacon and Costner or Gooding on the inside with the latter 2 capable of stepping out and shooting the outside shot.This is not a knock on JD but just something he should re-examine.Overall he did a fine job especially seeing that they were on the opposistions court.Wes and Nick lead us in scoring and both did a fine job in providing leadership.Ryan was tenacious on defense but is now being double teamed every time he touhes the ball.Costner and Gooding played very well both from the defesive and offensive end.Brandon continues to provide a spark when he comes in,good decision to penetrate and take the shot that tied the score at the end, instead of passing.He needs to do that more often, as he and Nick seem to be able to get inside at will against most teams. This definitely was a heart breaker after the teams and coaching staff's hard work all game,it just was'nt meant to be today .There were numerous lead changes however even to end when they were down by 5 and 2 they continued to fight back and tied it up with about 15 seconds left.These kids can play and I still think that they will win more games.
