Subject: A win tonight

The team has gotten sooooooooo close to turning the proverbial corner that if it doesn't happen soon, they may lose heart.
No one is more pessimistic than I am, but I'm going out on a limb here and predicting that elusive turn around win will happen tonight.

Usually I'm on the optimistic side but the loss to Manhattan was devistating. Not just to lose the game but to lose it the way they did - turnover and 15 ft. shot at the buzzer from a team that shoots poorly. What I am optimistic about is the way the team has been playing. One game doesn't tell anything but those of us (probably including yourself) who have seen them play know that the improvememnt is for real. Our problem is just that we do not have enough offensive firepower especially when Wesley or Nick is being rested. Both are playing over 35 minutes per game.

It's not only us but others are starting to notice. Check out te Manhattan board and a few nice things are being said about Ryan and Nick. In fact, people are beginning to see that Nick has been very much underrated and that Ryan is already being spoken of as one of the better big men in the league. Some of us think he's even better than that. Hope you are right about tonight.
