Watched the game on the internet. Bacon was very good. Leon had a very good first half couldnt score in second half. Jenkins couldn't get his shot to fall.
Aggressive Niagara defense created a lot of turnovers but many of our errors were again unforced from poor passing and selection of where to go with the pass and when.
We could not clear our defensive backboard many times and Niagara killed us from 3 point range when we tried to help out inside defensively.
Hall really struggled tonight i thought as did Costner. Brandon still will pass up a wide open shot to make an extra pass that gets us in trouble. Costner was physically outmanned by bigger stronger Niagara players.I thought Hill showed some promise but again too raw to do much against a quality team like this. Niagara was disciplined, organized and as usual Mihalich can really coach them.
One other note,Kabongo continued to see quite a few minutes and frankly his play was atrocious. A turnover machine with no shot.Every time he came in he made a key error. He can rebound but hard to see how he gets minutes over Reid who doesnt play at all. Assume it's a practice or effort issue.
