Agreed.....zero scoring potential up front, unless one of the front line frosh step up big time, which in the MAAC is rare for a front line freshman.

Having said that, this coming season had 4-24 written all over it if we could not defend the post or rebound. Now, at least, there is a glimmer of hope.

I have a dark horse for a "3" who can score a bit up front....I know it flies in the face of last year's performance...but I do think Costner can shoot a fifteen footer and passes very well..... I hope he can make that quantum leap.

Know nothing about McNeil or Reid.....our other likely "3" candidates....with McNeil probably a better fit....but....I think Costner is our only potential "3" with a jump shot....which will be what we need most from the "3" next season.

Remember, you heard it here first. :>)

Agreed! However, I wonder if JD will also choose to run more. Last year we lived (and died) with the half court game.Scoring can come in many different ways. We have several players who can perform well in the open court. Gooding is outstanding, Jenkins is no slouch and it is one of Lampley's strengths. Reports also say that Sutton and Hill run the floor well for big men.The type of offensive mind set JD chooses should be interesting!
