Have you spent any time in Binghamton? Let me share a story with you.

A friend of mine, an artist who has exhibited in small galleries in NY/NJ, moved to Binghamton a few years ago due to her husbands job transfer. An "art festival" was in the works and she excitedly rented a booth to display her work.

The booth next to hers was occupied by a guy who made airplanes out of beer cans. His booth outdrew hers 10-1.

Anyway, NY Metro area exposure and 10 minute access to NYC is POTENTIALLY far more valuable than living in God-forsaken Binghamton, where winter is 7 months long, or losing by 30 every night in the A-10 and flying home to -5 degree weather.

So there. :>)

Forget a city kid playing in the barren waste lands and frozen tundra of Hayseed Olean for a program that has been the worst in the conference for the last seven years and who's best known academic specialty is welding.

Or suffer within the industrial decay of Binghamton, NY where the nightly pursuit by team members is generally recognized as bar room shooting. Hard to imagine, but playing in a conference rated even lower than the MAAC.

I'm sure the Mr./Mrs. Sutton would love journeying to these two armpits of the world.
