FAU has used great location,Boca Raton,and public funding to get to the big time.Remember FAU offerred Fiore the head b-ball job in 1995 at 55k but he turned it down as he was at SPC making 90k before he was fired.The program still hasn't recovered. I recall they made the same offer at the time to Tom Green.
Under the leadership of Rev. Loughran SPC regressed to where we are today,perrenial doormat basketball program and football which i loved here and totally supported is RIP.
It may be too late for a new president to turn the place around.
