Makes sense. Hard to recruit if player does not know if coach will be there much longer. He is making inroads recruiting.

Hard to see how it makes sense to bring in a new AD with both of the premier programs at the school out of your control for the first 4 years of your job.
A one year extension would have put Dunne on a 2 year basis not hampering recruiting. At almost any school in the country you have to leave open the possibility of buying out one year if you make a change.

It looks like it is only a two year extension. However I am sure some inside person will soon clarify what is the right number.
