Subject: Lost another one to ...NJIT?

From CAA insider again, Ryan Regis, 6'6" from Apex Academy is shown as spurning an offer from Dunne in favor of NJIT.

Since his name has appeared after the Hill signing, we must consider this more evidence that another 'ship will be coming open....and that Dunne is not winning many recruiting battles.

We need a center; we got a big hole to fill; patience is a virtue; at least the staff is working hard; positive expectations brings positive results; maybe, just maybe, we will be lucky with a true center, 6-8, 6-9 or better; somewhere, someplace there has to be someone out there, who can fit the bill. Good luck to our hard working coaches.

And if SPC had signed him the board would be full of cries about outrecruiting NJIT or Felician or E.Tenn St. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. All you can do is trust that the coaches feel they have something to work with when they recruit. SPC gets very few finished packages under their recruiting tree. I am sure that this player is not unlike all the kids we recruit, not a panacea but a project with flaws. Remember that the vast majority of D1 programs are really in the same boat more or less. So here's hoping we get some quality kids with what we may have left to offer

Why are you lumping East Tennessee State in with schools like NJIT, Felician and, for that matter, St. Peter's? The place is nearby where I live and has St. Peter's beat in most categories, especially basketball. Better basketball program. Nicer campus. Nicer place to live.

Maybe you haven't heard, Buddy....we have a new President.

"Curb appeal" is right around the corner here at SPC!!

Try, just try, to compete with THAT!

Curb appeal? You mean they'll bring a burger and milkshake out to my car?
