will be in the development office. While one always knows he will be asked advice, I doubt he will be a substantial influence. If he over rides the newbie, then all those accolades you just insinuated will be lost. Probably the biggest comment I heard and it came from a unsuspected person, was that SPC hit a home run. I read the resume and it is impressive but like the players, one does not know until he performs. And that performance will take at least a year before we even get an inkling.


By the way, why have you been so quiet on the recruiting front. Right now we only have 12 and one a phantom at that. You would think there would be some hot irons in the fire. LP goes down south, but he never would have been admitted anyway.

Guess I'm more surprised by what has not occurred than what has. Especially the absense of an academic casuality(s). To leave or not still seems the question for one.

Hard to wax optimistic on the recruiting front. I'm sure John is still lamenting the big that at the last moment followed his coaches' advice and decided to travel futher north.
