Problem you have is that are at least thre to five more Elite sessions. Some are team and some are individual. Now they do cost and unless someone is funding all of them you never know as the last session is at the end of the month.

People forget that Sutton's head coach desputed Sutton's verbal when the rumor surfaced and a report showed up on Scout. I tend to believe he is getting more hype from his coaches than his parents, as they are just following along. B & G had two very decent guards that readily could go some where D1 now, but decided on Prep as they are being touted as a higher end. Now they will have to compete with next years class. They are doing this under the advise of their coaches. One only needs to look at the word of mess Tiny Morton got Shawn James in wih his extorionist demands on Leckie. James went with one of the biggest scumbags in coaching, his friend got screwed, and then followed RE to Duquesne and got shafted by RE out there, much less getting shot. Many HS coaches don't have the best interests of the kids in mind and only look to have placements where it will help them.

Look on the bright side, at least we'll see how that knee holds up! On a more serious note you bring up some interesting observations about some high school head coaches. The original quotes from Assistant Coach Anderson seemed very supportive of the decision to attend SPC. All the right reasons were given. On the other hand, the head coach seemed in denial even when she should have known that he had verbaled.Either she was out of the loop or had some strong opinions of her own. Would love to have heard those conversations.

Given the changing regulations of the Board of Education as to who can and can't coach public school teams in NYC ( a major issue in itself) one wonders where all the good old fashioned coaches have gone. Don't know about this head coach but your comments may be appropriate.

Interesting footnote: Boys and Girls Coach Ruth Lovelace was a highly touted Junior College transfer to Seton Hall in 1988 but her career was ended by a knee injury. John Morton, of course, played at Seton Hall from 1985-1989.
