The record shows loyal that O 'Bama voted twice to raise taxes on wage earners making 44k while in Congress. A far cry from his current proposal to limit the increases to families making 250k.
What makes you think the increases will be limited to the later when the recored shows he's a tax and spend devotee.You are what your record says you are. Check out the SPC b-ball team record on that.

I'm in Loyal's corner on this one. I can't wait for free health care, lower taxes for all of his in the lower 95% of wage owners, free housing if I don't wish to pay my mortgage, free meals if I tell the government I can't pay for them. What a nation we can become. The French will now like us since we will be emulating their successful model.
Nice analogy by Cindy to our bb team. No need to worry about recruiting, game planning, coaching. If we don't work too hard we'll be rewarded. No more losing seasons. JD will not have to worry about employment. Only downside I see is that our gregarious, feathered-pundit will no longer have an object for all his affection.

Hard to see how top 5% fail to see their social responsibility,when in addition to paying 90% of the tax,their efforts to lessen that burden result in the vast majority of contributions to social,health,and education.
Further it was demonstrated that during the Reagan years tax cuts increased government revenue by increasing incentives for productivity.
Many of those from SPC that I know personally, come from extremely humble beginnings. Though fulfilling the American dream of attaining success through education and hard work,contributing financially,and pro bono to society, they are now being criticized for that success.
Punishing that success destroys incentive and hurts the economy by clamping down on its most productive element.
All can share the blame for today's economy from the president,to the democracts in congress led by Barney Frank,Chris Dodd,and Nancy Pelosi,to the the greed not only on Wall ST ,but Main St where we all spend money we don't have.
But the worst thing that can be done in an already weak economy is to tax businesses who will either go belly up,or if they do survive, pass their tax increases on to the rest.
