I think the article provides a frank, objective assessment of Saturday's performance, as well as the talent level of the overall roster. Good insights on Hall showing promise and needing extensive court time, Conley looking OK, our "Matador D" (my term) being pourous as well as a lack of any semblance of shooting ability up front.

Also have to agree both Hogga and Lampley defecting from JD's first class is cause for concern.......in addition to our on court performance.

Hogga would have gotten 28-30 minutes a game this season up front and been our only front line player who could shoot beyond 5 feet. Lampley, for all of his shortcomings, would be a big improvement over Mumphord and probably would share at least equal minutes with Nick "Float Like a Butterfly, Sting Like a Bee" Leon.

Let's see if this young team shows any improved defense and offensive flow on SI and up in Beantown.....

Unfortunately, there was very little in JC Saturday to suggest the past two seasons were an aberration.......

Agree.

My point is "character", issues etc., which were emphasized so heavily during the roster purging (which I still support) two years ago, has been raised again during the past two years......Leon slugging Hogga and now Lampley doing God knows what.
