Have you seen these 2 kids play? I have numerous times. Lynch is an average player at best and Judson is so overrated I am still in shock she got a D1 school to offer her. SPC was only D1 on her so that should tell you something right there. Challenge Marist? No chance of them beating Marist. I hope JD doesnt take not of DeWolfe. She is awful. Watch her coach a game. Try to explain her sub patterns or her rotation. She stinks

Yeah that's why they were both named MVP of their respective State Championship games

To be fair, the amount of $$$ in play for mens hoops vs. womens hoops is apples and oranges. Top talent is much harder to recruit @ small mens programs vs. small womens programs.

Glad to see the women's team take a step forward this season. Coach DeWolfe and her players should be congratulated.

Mike Granelli won over 600 games as SPC's women's basketball coach and he would be the first to tell you that SPC was the only DI school to offer some of the best players the program ever had.

Stephanie DeWolfe, herself, was planning to attend a DIII school until SPC found out about her the summer after she had already graduated from high school.

She was a 4-year starting point guard, including her senior year when SPC was the first women's team in MAAC history to go through the double round-robin conference schedule undefeated and then win all 3 MAAC Tournament games. Marist just became the second team ever to do that 11 years later.

Shabazz just beat perenial parochial power St John Vianney by 40 points last night with Judson having a big game.

I'm not quite sure why this post was addressed to me.I admire your "novel" approach, trying to recruit board posters to band together in a grassroots campaign to lobby for you. However, it suggests that you are clueless to the power, knowledge, and leverage of the sum total of the posters on this board.
We have less control over who the next AD will be than we have over recruiting. And I agree with you that we have none.
If the administration is willing to open their wallet,I'm sure that most will be at least initially satisfied with the AD selection, who tops the field of a large number of experienced candidates.
Good luck though, in wherever your next job finds you.( I am already familiar with your CV.)

Cindy--

Just read your post. I'm not lobbying in the least bit -- just confident I'm the man for the post. If it happens -- great -- if not I move on and so does SPC. I just think I am the type A personality needed for the position. What a challenge and I'd love it.

You are, however, correct -- if the administration doesn't make that committment then it's all for naught. Thanks again.

DeWolfe's first three seasons were losing ones and the there was more talent remaining when Granneli left than when Leckie left.Sometimes it just takes time.Let's hope both our young coaches continue to learn.

While I enjoy viewing this board, may I suggest forget the recruiting business -- you and I -- have no control over it.

Yet, you may have a voice in the hiring of the AD -- and I would suggest you band together and believe in me -- I can and want to help St. Peter's College.

If interested in more, send me your e-mails and I'll forward my resume.
