On the bright side, if Conley is admitted there will be a ship for him next year. Because of pro ball in Ponce, we most likely would have a sanction next year.

Now Anderson is known to be a jerk who fancies himself a guru for the kids and I am sure played a part here. However lets not forget that his parents may indeed not wanted him to stay local because of all the negative issues that surround these NY ball players. Don't know this is the case, but Binghamton does not fit the bill as other than a nice campus there is only the few bars around town for basketball players to get into trouble. Maybe someone should send his parents the story on the Serbian who played for them and his the warrant that forced him to leave the country.

One would have hoped that he went higher, but he will perform in relative obscurity in mid state NY and will not necessarily see the development he needs due to lesser competition and also due to skill limitations will play behind an experienced 6'10" kid. All in all the status at Binghamton is far different than his original desires and what he was telling anybody who would listen.

With respect to Sludge's comment on Dunne's strategy, it will be very revealing, as I expect no further recruiting to protect against failure to accommodate Conley. Now another thing to remember, the iron clad agreement is about as strong as the paper it is written on and the negative issues about Binghamton will surface, much like the fact that Dunne's record over the last two years played against him. In this case don't be surprised to see Sutton make another retraction.
