Yes, the current facility could be better. But, how do you argue the fact that SPC defeated Duke way-back-when when the facility did not even exist? That facility was replaced by an even better facility, The Yanetelli Center. The court where the games are played is in very good condition. That is where the ball bounceses, that is where the shots are made. I hope SPC keeps its feet on the ground and its head out of the clouds. This is an educational institution, not a training camp for the NBA.

As part of a conference we have a responsibility to the other members to run a competitive program. We are in a contract with these other schools. Our relationship is one of codependency. We are shirking our responsibilities by not fully funding and fully supporting our athletic program.

Frankly, our institution is unethical by not fielding a competitive, fully-funded athletic program. It's not unlike being part of a homeowners association. Each homeowner is responsible for their property for the benefit of the organization as a whole. (Un)fortunately, there are no consequences in the MAAC for not keeping up our part of the deal.

Good point, good analagy, but, where exactly, in your opinion, are we lacking? Specifics are important.
