jajk, not to start another controversey but regarding your starters suggestion, I see it differently. Dunne always sends in his first substitutions around the first media time out (around the 16:00 minute mark.

Last game, he substituted (I think) Lampley, Bacon and Costner. At that point the score was 10-7 Fairfield. It was with that team that Fairfield then raced to a 20-9 lead before some of the starters returned. Problem was the subs (even though Costner played well) not the starting team.

While I'm not a second guesser by nature you know. as a former player, that it's hard to even break a sweat in four minutes. Yet this has been the substitution pattern, for the most part, all year. Think I know what Dunne is trying to do but it's the one area that I would do things differently. Let the starters play (whoever you choose to start) and not shuffle them in an out by rote. Play the hot hand and be flexible. Just my opinion.

Despite the lack of support Dunne has received, he is doing about as well as can be expected under the circumstances. I see very little fan support at games from students and alumni alike. When the student council called for Seton Hall coach PJ Carliesimo's head on a platter, John Thompson scolded the school for all the empty seats at games and a lack of support. Same story here. How many "fans' will attend home game Friday and game at Purdential center sunday?
