Subject: the "scheme is just to have him be one dimensional taking 3s"
In reply to: Peacock 's message, "Don't take this the wrong way" on Saturday, January 26, 09:52:00pm

Must have missed this. Guess the staff needs to change their game strategy and tell him to act multi-dimensional.

No one is letting him off. His STRENGTH is the outside shot, unfortunately he has not even shown much of this recently. We knew this coming in. His handle, passing and defense all were shortcomings that were known in high school. The staff has been working on trying to improve on these weaknesses. The only gain seen, and this earlier, has been his attack to the basket.

Guess I still need to wait for that good point.

Peacock wins the honor for the stupidest post of the year! Repeat after me class, "A #2 guard is supposed to shoot, a #2 guard is supposed to shoot, a #2 guard is supposed to shoot..." Guess Peacock doesn't think so!

But that's not all. According to Peacock, Wesely is a one dimensional player. In "watching" on the radio Peacock, of course, has never observed that Wesley often takes the ball to the basket. Almost half his shots are from inside the arc. Certainly his primary weapon is the three but that's what #2 guards are supposed to do! Shame on Dunne and staff for developing "schemes" to take advantage of that skill.

But yet the stupidest comment of all is that we haven't gotten much from that position this year. Inconsistency yes, but would anyone here think that he was not a great recruit? One of our top scorers, shoots 40% from the three, LEADS the team in steals, and is third in rebounds. Only a freshman. Yea Peacock, we've gotten nothing out of that position this year! And, of course, the next indictement will be that the staff is failing to develop Wesley's skills.

In Peacock's defense, everyone else is stupid and very few have a clue. In that he's an equal opportunity employer. Go ahead Peacock, have the last word. I'll try to ignore you as best I can. Rather disagree with someone who knows the game like jajk or listen to the observations of Cindy, SPC Fan and others. Have fun with Sludge, he's more than your equal and is smart enough to know that engaging in any serious diagolue is just to tweak you.

I never said he shouldn't shoot. What I said is they design for him to only shoot one way or do you think otherwise. It's no wonder you can't analyze when you have no ability at reading comprehension. It takes almost a foot for you to spout your inanities

Where did you pick up this one "We knew this coming in. His handle, passing and defense all were shortcomings that were known in high school." I thought you were not an insider and now you become the oracle of all strengths. He had nothing cited by services and coaches that I read. He may have these problems but other than your typical after fact intelligent statements you show little integrity as well as smarts.

And just to help you out, your statement "Guess the staff needs to change their game strategy and tell him to act multi-dimensional." seems to capture the problem or are you indicating that you feel this staff is on top of it all and doing it right. As of now, the satff dpoes not seem to know what it is doing.

Watched several of his games (3), and numerous reports discussed strengths and weaknesses. Guess this qualifies me as an insider. Funny how that term becomes convenient either way for you.

Whatever credibility you bring is lost when you extend by implying you can suddenly make a player into something he is not. Yes, I have my concerns over game plan/strategy, how plays are designed/players used; but please try to be realistic in judging what can be made into gold.

Your phone call comment and some comments on practices show you know someone who is there. I wouldn't be surprised if you are golfing buddies with the dummy inside.

How do you explain your rather negative comment on Jenkins when I know of no one who had that opinion. I watched some of his games and he wasn't quite the negative handler you infer. In fact you never ever made mention of that when discussing the recruiting class. Now you have all this information. What a fraud. Can you cite your reports other than just claiming they exist. You need to stop giving other people's opinions. In addition, in judging what can be made into gold, one needs to determine if you have an alchemist in charge. Somehow you don't that being the question.

Also stop exposing yourself. You could get arrested.

Many you need to attend some games. The pbp announcer and the calls you get from those at the game may not be enough.

you seem to have a whole lot of opinions also. So tdoes that mean you amuse yourself also.
