I assume many of you were at the game last night. Jenkins is a much better hgih school player than Shumate. however I understand the difficulty of getting decent college big men. Obviously it makes sense to take achance on him and hope he improves There are so many good high school guards out there, as compared to forwards. too bad you could not take both.

I saw Jenkins play last night and I was impressed with his game. He runs the point very well and is much quicker than I thought. He is about 5-10 and played Fontan well. I think he would be an asset for SPC; much better than anyone we have and plays point on an nationally ranked team. I liked his game.
Spoke with Tom Konchalski and he likes him and ranks him as a Low Div. 1 player. Shumate is lanky and raw but 6-7 and needs work on his offensive game.
Game will be televised on MSG this Sunday at 9am so see for yourself.
