Talk about dreaming..What planet are you on?? You talk as if we always had "ticket plans" and we are just a little late this year..Man you cannot be serious,so you must be jerking our chain!Don't get me wrong because I agree with your plan for SPC, except that SPC does not want to do what it needs to do to move the program forward and upward so you would be at odds with the school because they have not shown the desire to "run with the bigger dogs" for whatever the reasons..We are one of the few DivI schools that does not try to "be all that they can be" because they will not even try.

I really don't care who the next AD is as long as the person does not continue the Fortdham/Georgetown run of folks who come to JC to do a little charity work while either retiring or resume building. If it must be from within the Jesuit community of institutions how about someone from a mid major urban program like one of the Loyolas, Detroit or St.Joe's. These folks might understand facility, budget and PR issues but will come from programs with a fair degree of success (Detroit lately excepted). Energy is the #1 prerequisite for me. I know that things can be better than they now are, but the salad days of "68 are over due to ESPN, internet etc. Nonetheless better community and student body ID can be had. I found it interesting that when the women had their pack the house night vs Rider a substantial crowd was there including numerous school official types and staff who never go to games of either gender team. Whatever in school dynamic led to that night needs to be tapped into more regularly.
