Mike Granelli won over 600 games as SPC's women's basketball coach and he would be the first to tell you that SPC was the only DI school to offer some of the best players the program ever had.

Stephanie DeWolfe, herself, was planning to attend a DIII school until SPC found out about her the summer after she had already graduated from high school.

She was a 4-year starting point guard, including her senior year when SPC was the first women's team in MAAC history to go through the double round-robin conference schedule undefeated and then win all 3 MAAC Tournament games. Marist just became the second team ever to do that 11 years later.
