Shumate is playing in the Union County all star Game. Looking forward to actually seeing him play. A St. pats backup could be better than most team's starters.

I saw him play against St Ant's. He got limited minutes as the 2nd or 3rd player off the bench although he made some contribution while he was in the game. He is certainly eligible to contribute next year, I think his best games are at least a couple of years away. I do not think he's the answer for next year.

Of course, he could grow 3 inches and put on 30 pounds over the summer.
