So much true stuff posted above it's hard to know where to begin. Not they we're all brilliant strategists but a lot of us have been to almost every game. It's one thing to lose and play exciting basketball, but to look the way we do is disheartining.

#1) I'll begin with Loyal's comment posted below that for atleast through the early part of the game our performance had little to do with Siena and everything to do with us. Siena played very well in the second half and looked like the top tier team that they are. But for the first several minutes of the game it was a question of who was worse. We were by far! We saw the same thing at LIU, FDU, FFD, and the first half against Cansius. Unforced turnovers, our shooters getting the ball 40 feet from the basket, hopeless against any trap etc. If Orta didn't try to take things into his own hands by driving early on, we might not have scored. Didn't make a difference if it was little sisters of the poor, we were horrible all game.

#2) The entire post by SPC fan was right on. Not only are our sets (if any) completely broken down but we definitely need a penetrator who can kick out to the open shooter. In the second half, the kick out to Orta for his open 3, (the commentators discussed the playt length) was the first one to Raul or Jenkins I've seen all year. Lampley, in the future, can help in this regard but it just hasn't happened yet. Tired of seeing our shooters have to struggle to get off or force a shot.

#3) Leon and Lampley obviously have the potential to contribute but I agree that we do need that 6'2" penetrating, shooting, creating guard that I've seen on every other team that we have played. No matter how good a jump shooter a player is (Orta) you need that kick out pass from another player instead of constantly forcing shots or running through picks. Think that why most of Jenkins shots look and are forced.

#4) I'll leave the coaching assessment to others but why not try a different defensive look once in a while. What happened to the 1-3-1 that was used earlier in the year. Even if Siena had outside shooters, try a 3-2. Analyize it as you will but we look much worse than on offense than our talent and defensively we break down too much.

Bottom line is that we are all seeing and saying the same thing in one way or another. Next year class obviously has some holes to fill but this team should not be playing as badly as it is. We all know that.

You wanted to leave the coaching assesment to others, yet your last two comments were about the coaching. I think we cannot get away from what has become obvious to some of us.Dunne needs to make changes in many things..and soon.
