SPC went on a 25-3 run in the first half so I assume the defense was at it's best. They also clamped down in the last five minutes, but as with any struggling, young team consistancy is the problem.
Funny that you mention Dukiet. Thank God that there was no message board when he was coach. His slow down ,defensive brand was not popular at all. And he was winning.

A lot more people went to games when Dukiet was the coach.

I. for one, loved his Princeton style of play...is there a prettier play in bball than a back door lay-up?

No doubt some of our finest wins came under Dukiet, but more fans hated him than liked him. They were still in love with Run Baby Run.The fact that they were there was just a residual from a different time.
If you go by attendance, there were more people in the Okene years and they were dreadful.
The many reasons have been discussed but attendance has been in decline since the 60s.
