Subject: adult dachshund

I am a senior citizen. my 11 year old yorkie-maltese mix recently passed on unexpectedly and i am broken hearted. i ride a scooter for mobility and Cindy loved to ride with me or just walk next to me. I took her to the park almost daily. i was able to give her much love and day long attention. I feel lost and would pick up and smile again if i had another dog to nuture and care for. I would prefer a female so can paper train. be in good health as I am on a fixed income and avoid vet fees, except the yearly checkup and shots.
