that they should film the next XF movie here and have Mulder and Scully be looking for the Texas Bigfoot. Then Chris Carter would have to come to the local newspaper and ask to look through their archives for research.
Since I am the archivist I would work out some sort of deal with him such as: "You want to look at my archives? Sure. Just let me add *one* little scene to the movie you're shooting. Oh, yes, I promise it won't infringe on the main plot of your movie. It's just a little lighthearted scene between Mulder and Scully. No reason for you to even be bothered by looking at it. Tell you what, you stay here and look at the archives; just tell me where David Duchovny is and I'll go give the scene to him. I'm sure he won't have any objections to it."
