LOL! Maybe they could form a mutant retirement village where all the scary creatues from X-Files could retire.
My guess would be that bigfoots live in the West because it's less densely populated than the East. . .or at least it was up to about 50 years ago, and most of these stories have been around longer than that.
Of course, The Jersey Devil, from the XF ep of the same name, was supposed to be a bigfoot-type creature and she lived just outside of Atlantic City!
