I have *NO* idea what the spoiler said, because I haven't visited the Official Site for over a year now. But try not to worry too much. I've noticed that any spoilers which are either very bad or very good (or very shippy or very unshippy) tend to not be true.
Between the time the movie came out and the beginning of season six there were *LOTS* of spoilers in which people claimed that we would find out in season six that Fowl Thing was Mulder's ex-wife; the really awful spoilers had them still be married. But none of this came true.
Alas, from a shipper standpoint, some of the very shippy spoilers (like the one claiming we were going to get an ep last season with Mulder and Scully trapped together in a cave or abandonded building, finally confessing their mutual love for each other) tend not to be true either.
So. . .if the spoiler either had: 1.) Mulder joining forces with Krycek while Scully married Skinner *OR* 2.) Mulder and Scully happily getting married and settling down to raise little Sweeps in domestic bliss. . .I'd tend to doubt it was true.
