XF question on Who Wants to be a Millionaire -- X-Philes World-X-Files Movie 2

Subject: XF question on Who Wants to be a Millionaire

On last night's edition of "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" they had an X-Files question. The question was: "On a 1998 episode of 'The X-Files' which character claimed to be Fox Mulder's biological father?"
The possible answers were: Well-Manicured Man, Walter Skinner, Alex Krycek and Cigarette-Smoking Man.
Of course, the answer was CSM, and I guessed it correctly. This is what has me confused, though: While I know there have been several episodes where it was strongly implied that CSM was Mulder's father, I don't remember any episode where CSM actually came right out and *SAID* he was Mulder's father!!
What episode was it?? Did CSM say it to Mulder or to someone else?? The question said it was a "1998" episode, which would mean it was either late in Season Five or early in Season Six.
Help me out here, please!!
