Sorry to hear you missed some David Tv appearances. :-( I need to send you a tape because I recorded most everything! :-) I thought David was going to be on MTV today, but he turned up there Wednesday instead. It turns out he was only on for only a couple of minutes so I'll probably download the clip.
Today (Thursday) David will be on the Rosie O'Donnell Show, Later Today, VH1 The List, Showbiz Today, and Conan O'Brien. Phew! Also Mitch will be appearing on ER as a patient.
Tomorrow (Friday) David will be on Regis and Kathie Lee, and will be taping his "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" appearance that will air during the May 1-3 Celebrity Week. It is rumored that David may have a cameo on Saturday Night Live (April 8) with host Christopher Walken. Also Gillian may be on Access Hollywood on Friday. Got all that? ;-)
I enjoyed David's appearance on the Today Show very much! Before David's interview, Robin Williams was being interviewed. At the end of the interview when Matt Lauer mentions David, Robin started saying "X-Files" in a dramatic voice. David must have been watching Robin in the adjoining interview room, because he is shown sitting sideways in his chair and looking intently at something to his left. When he notices the camera is on him, David kinda jumps in his seat and shyly waves. **Commercial break**
After the break David is sitting with Katie Couric, who looks very giddy to be interviewing him. ;-) Through the whole interview she has a big smile on her face. :-D
But wait you wanted to know how David looked! Well here it goes... ;) He appeared well rested, clean shaven, and was wearing a sharp bluish-gray suit. David looked much younger in this interview, maybe he is a morning person. Usually tv actors have to be there early in the morning, so he is probably used to it. I think he was in a good mood, he jokingly told Katie that he would personally call her when he knew about season 8.
During the interview you could see some of the crowd through a window. There was someone with a BIG "I love DD!" sign in the crowd, I wonder if David saw that!
Good luck recording the rest of David's appearances! I think VH1's The List will be very funny!
