Subject: I don't dislike Mulder, honestly!

He just frustrates me so much sometimes!! I know it sounds a lot of times like I hate him, but I don't. I guess...and this might sound really ridiculous, considering he's not a real person and all, but I just expect more from him sometimes. And he disappoints me. Plus, I love Scully SO much that when he hurts her it pisses me off to no end. Mulder to me seems like he has the capacity to be so understanding, but then he goes and acts like such a jerk. Like in Never Again. "All this because I didn't get you a desk?" SHUT UP Mulder! I don't know. As I type I'm desperately trying to think of some times when I love Mulder. Ok!

I love Mulder in Memento Mori. I love that he doesn't give up on Scully. When she tells him she has cancer and there is no way to stop it he says, "I don't accept that." I love that. The first time I saw Memento Mori I thought that if I were Scully I'd rather Mulder were there with me instead of off gallavanting with the Lonegunmen. But the more I've watched it (which hasn't been too many times, it's too emotional) the more I've realized that Scully knows that is how he helps. He was so focused on her. It was beautiful.

I also love Mulder in Emily. Another example of him going all out to help Scully. I love that he got angry at her for not calling him sooner, I loved it when he kicked the crap out of that doctor who wouldn't tell him how to treat Emily. I loved him when he silently turned away so that Scully could say goodbye to Emily at the end.

See, look at me with all the Mulder Love! I really only get angry with Mulder when he treats Scully like crap. Mulder does plenty of good things. But when he hurts Scully, it's on.
