The major stamps her foot for effect. IG stops chanting and Stardoe removes the earplugs. "What did you say?" she asks while sticking a pinky in her ear to clean it out. Ew.
"I said, that's enough. You can't stop her from publicly humiliating her husband. I mean, really. He didn't get her a Christmas present (besides a Zombie board game). I'd grab that cattle prod and go after him myself, except it clashes with my shoes." KM preens, admiring her new shoes.
"Wait!" KS roots around in the pile of weapons and pulls out a diamond encrusted cattle prod, with a bright red handle. "This might work!"
"Oooo! This is nice! Where did you get this?"
"I'd tell you but then I'd have to kill you." KS is not joking. Still, it was a nice gesture to loan the mayor one of her most prized weapons.
"But, c'mon, mayor!" whines Stardoe. "You can't turn the man into a eunuch for this."
Everyone turns to look at Stardoe. What on earth is her problem? Why is she defending him? Bubba's eyebrows (or what would be eyebrows if he had any) pop up in a eureka! kind of way. He runs to the stage and begins acting out what happened.
The crowd follows along silently, except for Detoured, who's moving her lips and whispering. After the Dancing Danas and Red Speedo Revue join Bubba to act out the big finale, everyone turns to stare at Stardoe, who is beet red.
"Well...you'd have done the same thing!" is all she has to say in her defense.
