She taps something taped to the wall. "I don't like the looks of this."
Kande groggily raises herself up on one elbow on the gurney. When the clones had hefted her into the ambulance, they'd raised her up too far and she'd smacked her head on the ceiling and knocked herself out. "Like the looks of what?"
"These x-rays. I'm afraid," Aunt Madge turns and crosses her hands in front of her in what she hopes is a solemn demeanor but she can hardly hide her glee, "that these kidneys need to come out."
"What? You're crazy! I've just got a few bruises, is all." Kande manages to sit up so she take a look at the x-rays herself. "Those aren't x-rays. They're crayon drawings of a stick figure."
"A stick figure with two kidneys which need to be removed." Aunt Madge points in the general area of the kidney's on the drawing. Unfortunately, her knowledge of anatomy is flawed and she points towards a cat that was included in the drawing. "Your sister was kind enough to send these over."
"Ha! KS kind? That would be the day. You're not taking my stinkin' kidneys." Kande starts to slide off the gurney, gets her foot tangled in an extension cord and falls backwards onto Aunt Madge's desk. "Ow! Kidneys! Sore!"
"That's exactly my point. If we take them out...wah lah! No more soreness."
"And...I'd be dead. Considering two kidneys ARE rather important for living." Kande is hobbling towards the door as fast as she can, her butt cheeks jiggling with the effort as the back of her hospital robe flaps open.
"Pish-tosh. Nobody remains dead for long in this town," Aunt Madge informs her, motioning for the clones standing guard outside the door to hold onto Kande. They're the only beings in town who wouldn't be adversely affected by the sight of Kande's buttocks.
