I miss you.
I am involved in too much school work at the moment but the other week I went to a conference and they were talking about cyber communities. Yes, there are quite a few out there. Apparently we can access some for our class and the kids can compare and discuss the differences etc between those cyber comunities and our own community. The kids can make up their own community with rules and regulations etc. It was funny, but when the guy was talking about cyber communities, I thought that I actually belong to one. We developed our own, on our own, without consulting anyone, or having a blue print to work from. Apparently there are others out there that we can be a part of but I like this one. It just grew and really....I have been part of this Shipperville cyber community for ages. How many yrs is it now? 7 or 8? Were we the first? Or maybe one of the first. Or have the others been at it this long or longer too? Anyway, I just wanted to share that in the NSW department of Education are advocating cyber communities for children to study and emulate.
