She carries her bike over to the bike rack in front, and locks the front tire. Hiking her artillery belt up her thin hips, she straight arms the swinging doors.
"OW!"
KS peers cautiously around the door. Just as she thought, Kande is laying on the floor holding her nose. She glares up at her KS who is trying not to laugh.
"Web are youb gonna quit bargin' through thode doors?" Kande lisps out, plugging her nose with a dirty bar rag. She motions for Bubba to keep laying down on his little cot in the corner of the bar. "Don' worry, Bubba, I'll ged id." She pours KS a rootbeer and sets it in front of her. KS shrugs and fiddles with the handcuffs on her belt.
"When are you going to quit hiding behind them?" KS scolds. "You must have gotten 30 bloody noses that way."
Kande scowls and declines to answer. It's her Klub, and if she wants to skulk around doors, then by Golly, skulking she will do.
"Say...guess who I saw CW talking to." KS looks around to see if anyone else is listening and then leans closer to Kande, her eyes bright. "Go on, guess."
"I'd dunno."
"C'mon Kande! Guess!" KS whaps her sister on the arm, knocking Kande back into the rootbeer kegs by accident. "Oops. I keep forgetting how brittle you are."
"Mulder?"
"Nope."
"Scully?" Kande's eyes take on a momentarily dreamy look. KS snaps her fingers in front of Kande's face and Kande reluctantly comes back to earth.
"You're not even trying. Someone sinister. Someone you would be afraid of. Someone for me to play with!" KS is so excited, she's spinning guns off the end of both hands. Kande takes a step back.
"Cigarette man?"
"Close, but no cigarette." KS yucks it up for a minute and then gets serious. "The Head of the Shipperville Mob."
Kande looks impressed for about a second, then her face whitens. "And he was talking to CW? Innocent, sweet, would-never-hurt-anybody CW?"
