Kande sights heavily. Her SO glances at her. "Whassup?"
"I can just picture the Klub," she tells her SO. "KS has probably taken it over and hung antique weaponry in glass cases on the walls, billed to me. And she'll have turned the Dancin' Dana's and Red Speedo Revue into some kind of specialized killer task force. Bubba will be sporting tattoos and biker leathers, and..." she discovers she's sweating so heavily that she has to stop and mop her face.
"Oh now, aren't you exaggerating just a little?" Her SO scolds her. "I wish you'd just give your sister a chance. Think about something else for a while." She settles back into the chair with the airplane magazine, Wilco tootling to her through the airplane headphones.
Kande decides she's right. She starts thinking about all the tartan souveniers she's bringing back as gifts. She glances back at the British bloke she brought back for Det. He's sitting in the seat behind her, looking dazed. Seeing Kande glance at him, he risks speaking.
"Are you sure this Det woman is a sex kitten?"
Kande grins at him. "Absolutely."
The man leans back, rubbing his hands together. "Smashing."
Meanwhile...back at the Klub, the demolition isn't as bad as Kande had feared. Oh sure, CW had turned the inside of the Klub into the echoing space of a school gym, complete with sweaty sock smell. Bubba is wearing tennis whites behind the bar, and CW is still dressed in a headmistress outfit. She leans into mystery man.
"Where do you suppose KS ran off to?" CW glances at her stopwatch. "Kande will be home any minute."
The man frowns. "I have no idea, which worries me."
