KS begins to worry she may have chosen the wrong lawyer. But darn it, Bubba had that fancy-schmancy official-looking certificate from the School of Legalese pinned to his wall, right beneath that poster of the aliens from "Men In Black," Bubba's idea of a pin-up. Uh oh, Judge Stardoe is banging the gavel again and pointing at KS. KS realizes that she, too, has been a victim of lost time while pondering Bubba's authenticity as a lawyer.
"Yes?" KS sits up straight.
"Did you or did you not make those cookies for Kande?" Stardoe shouts at her.
"Not yet," KS replies sullenly. "I've been busy."
"Phooey," Stardoe settles back in her chair. "Being a judge is a hungry business."
"So is being a juror," Kande pipes in, glaring at her sister.
"Ahem," coughs the mystery man lawyer. "Can we get on with this?"
"Er...right," Stardoe bangs her gavel again, just because she can. "State your case."
"My client," the mystery man begins, gesturing towards CW who slumps and tries to look pathetic with her bandaged hands, "was grievously injured by that woman over there!" He dramatically points at KS. The entire room gasps.
"Who hasn't been?" The Mayor whispers to IG sitting next to her. IG nods in agreement.
KS gives Bubba a sharp jab in the side. He jumps up and starts hopping up and down, repeatedly sticking his finger at the mystery man and looking angry. Suddenly, something about his gesture interests KS and she sits up.
"He's telling you to state your name for the record," she tells mystery man smugly.
